Elspeth Tirel from Scars of Mirrodin is $12.00! This Elspeth sees no modern or legacy play; its value is completely buoyed by commander demand. This is one of the few planeswalkers that I actually like in commander because her light ultimate ability can go off the turn she comes into play.

Foil Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker from M13 is $16.00! Again, we see a planeswalker that sees no competitive play, but has value due to casual appeal.

Together, these planeswalkers show that even without modern and legacy, planeswalkers have life outside of standard. Even though Vraska, Jace, and others may be rotating from standard and may  not have what it takes to see play in eternal formats, don’t count them down and out. Their duel deck printing may cap their values a bit lower than normal, but I wouldn’t feel bad at all picking up rotating copies that may be undervalued due to their rotating status. Jace even has a little extra going for him in that he is a popular character that collectors will want to own.
