Invoke Prejudice from Legends is $150.00! I’ve never seen or heard of anyone playing this in legacy or vintage, so the demand  must be coming from collectors or casual formats. I personally picked up a copy a very  long time ago when it was worth about $30.00. If I recall, there was a buyout about 5 months ago that resulted in the forceful push to it’s now insane price.

In the Eye of Chaos is $80.00! Once again, we have a Legends rare that sees no constructed play, but because it does something cool its worth a lot.

I don’t have any specific cards for you to speculate on today, but these 2 cards should illustrate a point that scarcity in magic can have drastic effects. They are not very liquid, but prices can get really out of hand. Foil mythics, and to a lesser extent foil rares, are today’s scarce cards. We’ve seen time and time again how crazy expensive foils can get. Find the ones that have less than a 2x multiplier and have an interesting and unique effect. Foil Prophet of Kruphix and foil gods are good examples, and both are cards I’m actively attempting to acquire. From personal experience, they are very hard to find, and yet I’d be willing to bet a lot of commander players would love to have them.
